MISERY INDEX – The Killing Gods – April 23, 2014

Baltimore’s death metal extremists MISERY INDEX have premiered the third new song from their forthcoming full-length ‘The Killing Gods’. The album will be released on May 23rd (May 27th in North America) and will be available as a CD, a limited edition Digibox with a bonus track, and various LP formats. ‘The Killing Gods’, the band’s fifth album was recorded at Visceral Sound Studios with Scott Hull (PIG DESTROYER, AGORAPHOBIC NOSEBLEED, BLACK TUSK, BRUTAL TRUTH) and Wright Way recording with long-time engineer Steve Wright (DYING FETUS, MARS VOLTA, SOILWORK). MISERY INDEX were recently added to the main stage of this year’s Maryland Deathfest on May 25 in Baltimore, Maryland. The band also recently announced a special live date as part of this year’s Maryland Death Fest pre-show, on May 21.

In addition to the track premiere, MISERY INDEX have also announced a new European tour alongside label-mates GORGUTS. The tour, which starts on April 24 in Madrid, will see both bands travel through Spain, Italy, France, and more before concluding on May 8 in Tilburg, where both bands will perform as part of this year’s “Neurotic Deathfest”.
