News update : REVENGE – October 23, 2014

Posted on October 23, 2014

Canadian warmongers REVENGE have added more dates to their ongoing campaign of live destruction. The band has been invited to join Norwegian black metal legends MAYHEM and Swedish Satanic wolf pack WATAIN on the upcoming “Black Metal Warfare” tour to take place in January 2015. A full list of dates is shown below.

Expect nothing less than the over the top unrelenting wall of audio chaos, which the band has become known for after laying waste to every stage they stepped foot on.

Official comment from main man J. Read: “North American Revenge legions – prepare to bleed upon the Altar of Triumph. No Scene, No Brotherhood, No Remorse. Behold Total Rejection…”

Formed in 2000 by J. Read (BLOOD REVOLT, ex CONQUEROR), REVENGE has become one of the most respected bands in the worldwide Black Metal underground.

Using militant imagery, and behind the force of savage live shows, the band has built a die-hard world-wide following amongst the extreme factions of the Black and Death metal scenes.

“The music is both brutishly primitive and intimidatingly complex, veering between guttural blasts of noise and dizzying instrumental prowess in a blink. This is black metal ground down to its ugliest, most primal essence, spat out at furious power-violence tempos and dredged through a filthy morass of down-tuned death metal…Revenge settle for nothing less than victory, intolerance, and mastery of their craft.” – Pitchfork
