For more than 20 years, Nytt Land have followed their living, breathing connection with ancient traditions and beliefs. On March 22nd, 2026, the dark folk family duo welcomed the spring equinox with a special performance in Moscow. Much like the symbol of the sun itself, Ritual of Stone Sun traces back through Nytt Land’s career. The album spans from the throat singing and shamanic drums of the duo’s early Nordic cycle to their most recent exploration of the ancient percussion and vocal traditions that are performed by Siberian shamans to this day.
