VIPASSI laid their foundation on their debut album ‘Śūnyatā’ in 2017. Originally formed as a project between Daniel Presland (Drums – Ne Obliviscaris, Black Lava, Virvum) & Ben Boyle (Guitars – Black Lava, Hadal Maw, AMDBL) to explore new concepts and sounds not currently engaged by their projects, the band has since grown to add Arran McSporran (Fretless Bass – Virvum, Utopia, Cosmitorium) & Benjamin Baret (Guitars – Ne Obliviscaris, Maer).
KILL THE THRILL are blessed with a uniquely elusive vision. The French duo have been dreaming up an abrasive-but-hypnotic blend of industrial rock, post-punk and dark wave. Heck, the title track off their upcoming fifth album, Autophagie, arrived with a surreal fever dream of a video that could give David Lynch nightmares.
It’s been four long years since we’ve heard from Foscor. The Catalonians released their last album in the fall of 2019. The Bordeaux-quartet EXOCRINE have been blending ultra technical and extraordinarily rapid death metal with philosophical musings for quite some time now. Releasing their first album in back in 2015, they now mark a new chapter with the upcoming album. While still choked-full of eerie, dissonant finger-taps and enough blast beats to blow out your eardrums, ‘Legend’ rages from within.

Their offering to the musical realm takes the form of an extraordinary concoction they have titled ‘Viking War Trance,’ a fusion that breathes life into pagan war songs, resounding drum beats, and the elegant interplay of woodwinds and strings. This musical alchemy is underpinned by an irresistibly dance-able rhythm that beckons listeners into a trance of their own.
