As previously announced, KYLESA‘s eagerly anticipated fifth album is entitled “Spiral Shadow” and will be out on October 26th. Recorded at the Jam Room in Columbia, SC earlier this summer, the eleven-track album was once again produced by band member and renowned producer Phillip Cope (Baroness, Withered). Since the release of breakthrough album “Static Tensions”, the co-ed Savannah-based quintet has been working non-stop including an unrelenting tour schedule that took them around the globe three times, writing songs for the new album and ultimately recording “Spiral Shadow“.
KYLESA, currently on tour in Europe with Converge, will join High On Fire and Torche for a five-week trek beginning September 29th in San Francisco and wrapping up on November 7th at the Fun Fun Fun Festival in Austin. The Georgia band also recently confirmed two additional festival appearances: The Soundwave Festival (February 2011 touring festival in Australia) and the Raleigh-based Hopscotch Music Festival on September 11th.
