SAOR wins ‘Best Metal’ category at the Scottish Alternative Music Award

Caledonian metal band SAOR have won the category ‘Best Metal’ at the Scottish Alternative Music Awards. The Scottish Alternative Music Awards (SAMA’s) recognizes the best new Scottish music, shining a spotlight across an eclectic range of contemporary music genres.

Frontman Andy Marshall comments: “Thanks to everyone who voted for us, I really appreciate it. It’s been a tough year, so this award means a lot. Special thanks to our manager Joe, the live band and Season of Mist for all their hard work. Cheers and hope to you guys next year!”

SAOR announce remixed and remastered version of ‘Guardians’

Caledonian metal band SAOR have announced a remixed and remastered version of their third full-length ‘Guardians’. This new edition also contains the previously unreleased demo recording of “Dawn of Heroes” and will be released on vinyl and CD via Season of Mist. The release date is set for January 15, 2021. SAOR announce re-issues for albums ‘Roots’ and ‘Aura’

Caledonian metal band SAOR are announcing two re-issues on Season of Mist. The debut record ‘Roots’ will be available on vinyl and CD, with the bonus tracks “Pictish Pride” (Ainshval cover) and “Yearning” (unreleased demo track). The release date is set for August 21, 2020.
