Canadian black metallers RAGE NUCLEAIRE have finished recording their brand new full length album. A follow-up to their ferocious debut ‘Unrelenting Fucking Hatred’, the band has announced the album will be titled ‘Black Storm of Violence’, and will be released on the Season of Mist Underground Activists division on July 18th (July 22nd in North America).
At long last, Season of Mist is thrilled to welcome extreme metal lunatics SHINING to the roster! SHINING is made of mastermind Niklas Kvarforth (vocals, concept, guitars) and his “toolbox”: Rainer Tuomikanto (drums), Christian Larsson (bass), Euge Valovirta (guitar), and Peter Huss (guitar). The Swedes’ forthcoming ninth full-length should hit the stores early 2015.
SAINT VITUS will embark on an extensive European tour in celebration of their 35th band anniversary this autumn. To honour this occasion, the godfathers of American Doom Metal will perform all songs from the fan-favourite ‘Born Too Late’ album (1986) as part of their show peppered with a host of classic hits.
CORRUPT MORAL ALTAR have announced a UK tour this summer. The grinding and sludgy hardcore powerhouse will hit the road in Liverpool at Maguires on July 24th and continue to rampage through England and Scotland until a final appearance for this leg at the Adelphi in Preston on July 27th. Vancouver’s critically-acclaimed hard rock quartet ANCIIENTS have kicked off their first ever European tour with a sweat driven concert at the prestigious Roadburn Festival in Tilburg, Netherlands last Thursday. Alongside North Carolina’s heavy rockers ASG (featuring members of WILDLIGHTS) the Canadians will continue to shake the mainland until their final performance for this round at the Desertfest in London, on April 26th. Critically-acclaimed, genre-defying quintet KYLESA has announced a summer European headlining tour. Welsh heavy rockers HARK have kicked off their Europan tour with a fantastic show at the prestigous Roadburn Festival last Saturday.
