Legendary Gore Metal pioneers NECROPHAGIA will be back with a new album on May 16th (one day later in North America). The band’s fifth official full-length was recorded at Last House On The Left Studios in Ohio, USA. The recording was produced by Killjoy and guitarist Boris Randall. The cover concept and title track are based on the “Manson Family” ordeal of the late 1960’s. The painting for the cover artwork was done by renowned tattoo artist “Jake Arnette” and the album features guest appearances by Maniac (SKITLIV, ex MAYHEM) and Casey Chaos (AMEN). On next May 16th (one day later in North America), Season of Mist will release the debut album of NADER SADEK in collaboration with Greyhaze Records. So far Egyptian-born artist Nader Sadek was mostly known as the designer responsible for the stage imagery on MAYHEM’s 2009 US tour, but he decided to delve deeper into the Metal world by forming his own project. He thus teamed up with Rune Eriksen (AVA INFERI, AURA NOIR, ex MAYHEM), Steve Tucker (ex MORBID ANGEL) and Flo Mounier (CRYPTOPSY) to create a Death Metal project under his own name.
As previously announced, the main artwork of SEPTICFLESH’s forthcoming album “The Great Mass” will appear on the CD + DVD Digipak edition, the gatefold LP and the dust jacket of the collector’s artbook. Every week, a hidden part will be unveiled, gradually forming the nightmarish full scale artwork of Seth Siro Anton. Greek demons SEPTICFLESH will perform a headliner show at the Chaulnes Metal Fest (FR) on next April 23rd. This show will be very special insofar as all original members of the band will be on stage.
