Norwegian Progressive Extreme metallers VULTURE INDUSTRIES entered the Conclave and Earshot Studios in Bergen a couple weeks ago to begin work on their third full-length album. The band plan to issue studio updates at regular intervals on their Facebook page and their official website so that fans can follow the progress of the album.

Heavy metal/Doom metal progenitors SAINT VITUS have kicked off their Scion A/V sponsored headlining US tour. The comprehensive US tour runs for five weeks, ending in Austin, TX on October18. See the Tour Dates section of Season of Mist’s website for tour dates.

Season of Mist will team up with Scion A/V for a free label taping/showcase at The Glasshouse in Pomona, CA on October 13th. This unique, one-off event is the first-ever Season of Mist showcase in the U.S. and features performances from the following bands:

“Voyeur”, German math metallers WAR FROM A HARLOTS MOUTH’s forthcoming album, will hit the stores on October 19th (November 6th in North America). For the occasion, the band will throw a release party and perform a show at Euroblast Festival in Köln, Germany on October 19th.

In support of their new album “Resistance”, Punk rockers THE CASUALTIES are coming to raise havoc in Europe! The tour will start on November 1st and will take the band through no less than 15 countries!

As previously announced, seminal extreme metallers MORBID ANGEL will embark on a one-month North American tour with DARK FUNERAL, GRAVE and VADIM VON on selected dates. The tour kicks off this Friday in Atlanta, GA and will go on as follows:

A LIFE ONCE LOST will head out on a full U.S. tour with headliners REVOCATION this October and November in support of their new album, “Ecstatic Trance”, due out in North America on its new release date of October 22nd and internationally on November 16th. Support will come from KEN MODE. The tour kicks off on October 18th in Trenton, NJ and comes to a close in Allston, MA on November 13th.

On this very day, Season of Mist unleashes Swedish Black Metal act OFERMOD’s debut, “Mystérion Tés Anomias”, for the first time in North America. Originally recorded in 1998, this EP also includes two songs from 2004.

A LIFE ONCE LOST’s new track, ‘Madness is God’, now has a new lyric video to go with it! The video can be viewed on YouTube. Cut from forthcoming album “Ecstatic Trance”, the track is the first single off of the album which is due October 22nd in North America and internationally on November 16th.
