A worthy heir to Failure, Quicksand, and Cave In, Untitled With Drums have established themselves as the beacon of a French heavy rock scene struggling to take risks and too often settling for crude heaviness. Having made a name for themselves at Hellfest 2022 and Nuits de Fourvière Festival, opening for the legendary Deftones, as well as at London’s Desertfest, the quartet from Clermont-Ferrand pushes its hybrid of alt rock and 90s post-hardcore to new heights on Made Flesh. Recorded and mixed under the guidance of Cyrille Gachet (Fange, Year Of No Light, The Great Old Ones…) and mastered by Alan Douches (Dillinger Escape Plan, Every Time I Die, Converge…), this sophomore album presents the band as its members intend to be heard—not as you might expect.
