Season of Mist is proud to announce the signing of OLD SILVER KEY, a brand new band born from the hyperactive mind of DRUDKH mainman Roman Saenko and consisting of four DRUDKH members plus French artist Neige (ALCEST, AMESOEURS) on vocals. The aim of this new project is to create nostalgic, romantic and light atmosphere of solitude, beholding, childhood and warmth. The first album is already in recording process.

A hidden part is unveiled every week, gradually forming the nightmarish full scale artwork of Seth Siro Anton. Seminally influential Extreme Metal act MORBID ANGEL have set “Illud Divinum Insanus” as the title of their eagerly awaited forthcoming album, which has been scheduled for a June 6th release (one day later in North America). “Illud Divinum Insanus” will be MORBID ANGEL’s eighth studio album, and the first since legendary frontman David Vincent rejoined the fold. DOCTOR MIDNIGHT & THE MERCY CULT, the super group born from the union of Hank von Helvete (ex TURBONEGRO), Tim Skold (ex MARILYN MANSON, KMFDM, SHOTGUN MESSIAH), Anders Odden (ex CELTIC FROST, SATYRICON, APOPTYGMA BERZERK), Audun Stengel (ex APOPTYGMA BERZERK) and David Husvik (ex EXTOL), has set June 6th as the release date of their debut album. The North American release will follow one day later.

Slight change of plans for French metallers MINUSHUMAN: contrary to what was previously announced, their sophomore album, initially scheduled for a June 20th release in Europe, will actually hit European stores on August 19th …and American stores on August 23rd! The delay is due to the album turning out to be so good that it had to be released internationally. You will understand it’s worth the wait when you hear it!

Legendary Gore Metal pioneers NECROPHAGIA will be back with a new album on May 16th (one day later in North America). The band’s fifth official full-length was recorded at Last House On The Left Studios in Ohio, USA. The recording was produced by Killjoy and guitarist Boris Randall. The cover concept and title track are based on the “Manson Family” ordeal of the late 1960’s. The painting for the cover artwork was done by renowned tattoo artist “Jake Arnette” and the album features guest appearances by Maniac (SKITLIV, ex MAYHEM) and Casey Chaos (AMEN). On next May 16th (one day later in North America), Season of Mist will release the debut album of NADER SADEK in collaboration with Greyhaze Records. So far Egyptian-born artist Nader Sadek was mostly known as the designer responsible for the stage imagery on MAYHEM’s 2009 US tour, but he decided to delve deeper into the Metal world by forming his own project. He thus teamed up with Rune Eriksen (AVA INFERI, AURA NOIR, ex MAYHEM), Steve Tucker (ex MORBID ANGEL) and Flo Mounier (CRYPTOPSY) to create a Death Metal project under his own name.

Greek demons SEPTICFLESH will perform a headliner show at the Chaulnes Metal Fest (FR) on next April 23rd. This show will be very special insofar as all original members of the band will be on stage. That means that Sotiris Anunnaki V. (guitars / melodic vocals) will play in France for the first time in 12 years! The man’s live appearances are very rare due to obligations in Greece and this will be one of the few exceptions to the rule. Be there for an exquisite Mass…
